Saturday saw our 7s (make their league debut away in Bexley against Old St Mary’s 2s. Highlights included being ahead 2-0 after 30mins with only 10 mins, a Nayim-esque goal courtesy of Jainam from the half way line, Lev Yashin like performance from keeper George having escaped a red card in the first half all ending in a rain soaked yet very satisfying 4-1 away win in deepest darkest South East London.

More players, more passion, more football!

We rounded off the 2022/23 season with a good win for the 1s vs Wokingians and sadly a loss for the 6s on Saturday away to Reigatians to condemn them to relegation. An entertaining 3-3 draw was also played out in the intra club friendly at REMPF. Both games were captured on Veo, including some drunken reffing in the friendly.

Next Saturday is the end of season awards!! Its a totally FREE day for everyone including all footy, food and drink.

We’ll be handing out trophies and prizes to the winners of all the team awards including top scorer, manager’s player and player’s player of the year.

Also club prizes such as Manager of the Year, Club Top Scorer, Young Player of the Year, and Clubman of the Year.

So get yourself , the missus and little one/doggo down there and get involved!

We enter into the final matchday of the season next Saturday with the 1s at home to Wokingians and the 6s away to Reigatians in a relegation decider. We are also going to play a friendly between the Vets and an OTs XI at Fortress REMPF so get yourself down there bring boots and cheer on the 1’s in their final game!
